Elodie Morin

I'm 21 years old and I come from Trois-Rivieres in Quebec. As far as I can remember, I always loved being strong. I spent my childhood practicing gymnastics. It gave me a pretty good athletic background. When I started powerlfiting, I immediately realized that I was at the right place. This sport gave me so much confidence in myself. I think that starting competing is one of the best choice I've made in my life so far. And I'm very proud of the results that I got for that first year of competitions. My best squat right now is 142.5 kg, best bench is 85 kg and deadlift 170 kg. I'm in the Junior 63 kg category. I won the best women junior award at the last CPU Nationals. I will participate into my first World Championships in June 2017. I will give everything I can into my prep like I always do. I'm part of the one who truly believe that hard work beats talent. Competing at a high level demands a lot of discipline. I'm not afraid of doing what it takes to reach my goals. Beside powerlifting, I also study in kinesiology. I just love everything related to performance. And I always have big goals in my mind. In brief, just watch me! -Elodie
